How I Label My Exotic Trees

My husband and I live in California but we were born in Southeast Asia where exotic trees and plants commonly grow there. That's why we wanted our backyard here in the US to feel like our hometown.  We planted so many variety of exotic trees and plants so far.  As well as for our kids to know what they are and easy to remember__that's why I made some wooden tree labels and tie them on each tree.

They are very easy to make.  All you need are craft woods, printer, mod podge, stain and protective clear coat.
1. First cut the woods in any desire shape you want and stain them with any color stain.
2.  Print out the name of the tree and cut or tear it by hand to make it look rustic.
3.  After that you apply mod podge on the wood and place the cut out word on the wood.
4. Reapply the mod podge and let it completely dry.
5. When it's dry completely apply a protective clear coat on top of the wood.
6. Lastly, drill a hole on the top of the wood label
7. Cut an appropriate length of twine and tie into the hole.
